U.S. Model 1842 Aston percussion pistol, .54 cal., smoothbore, with an 8 1/2" round barrel.
1852 dated lock with some pitting. Bright barrel with some pitting. Brass bright work polished. No cracks in stock and no visible cartouches. Articulated ramrod.
