Red, blue, navy blue, and white jacquard coverlet, mid 19th c., the eagle corner blocks inscribed "I.G.", the bottom border decorated with birds and flowers, the side borders with horses, stables, and crests, the interior with geometric medallions, 89" x 70". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 166 and 167.
Poor/fair condition. Losses to fringe and borders. Numerous small and medium losses to body. Worn.
