Red, blue, green, and white jacquard coverlet, probably from Pennsylvania, by or for M. Krady, the corner blocks inscribed "1849. M. Krady", the borders with floral decoration, the interior with floral decoration and squares of sunbursts surrounded by "ABCDEFG HIJKL", 98" x 92". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 142 and 143.
Some losses to blue throughout, mostly minor but a couple medium areas in star blocks.
