Philadelphia Chippendale mahogany drop leaf dining table, ca. 1770, with notched corner leaves and cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet, 28 3/4" h., 16 3/4" w., 44" d. Property sold with the approval of the trustees of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to benefit acquisition funds.
Several patches to roll joint. Cross stretcher replaced. Repaired blowout to one knee. Three knee returns replaced. Legs broken off and reattached. Top by association.
