New York navy blue and white jacquard coverlet, for or by B. Fletcher, inscribed "B.Fletcher U.S.A. A.D. 1829" in the corner blocks, the edges with double headed eagle, pine tree, and building decoration, the interior with floral medallions, 89" x 77". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 18 and 19.
A couple small holes. 2" x 1 1/2" loss to summer side on blue near a flower. Small edge losses. A few minor stains.
