John Nice, attributed (Upper Salford Township, Montgomery County) ca. 1830-1840, molded and wheel thrown redware sugar bowl, with elaborate knop, bead and scroll decoration on lid, the base with 2 applied twisted handles with overall brown glaze, white dot slip decoration and footed base, 7 1/4" h. Condition

Small glaze flakes throughout. Small chips to underside of lid and top side, three 1/4" flakes to lid rim, one small flake on upper rim of base. Other very small losses.
