Pennsylvania redware pitcher, possibly Chester County, Pennsylvania, ca. 1800-1810, with overall black manganese glazing and relief initials "JF" with relief birds and stars, 10 1/2" h. Provenance: George Horace Lorimer 1944.
Small hairline. Chips to rim and spout. Loss to glaze around bottom edge.
