Jacob Eicholtz (American, 1776-1842), oil on wood panel portrait, inscribed on wove paper card Annah (Hannah)Torr, Dru (Drum), born in Pearl Stree (t), New York, Aug. 8, 179_, painted in Philadelphia on Feb' 24, 1806, depicting a young girl in profile with gold earring and wearing a white empire dress with puffed sleeves, 7 3/4" x 5 3/4". Provenance: Nathan Liverant & Son.

Condition

Not relined. A warping grid has been fixed to the back of the portrait panel. Panel does not appear to have been reduced. Wood worm holes evident in back. No bowing, cracks or warp to panel.
