York County, Pennsylvania red blue, green, and white jacquard coverlet by Martin Hoke, the corner blocks inscribed "M. Hoke In Dover 1838 L. Weigel Patent", the edges with birds and bushes inside a double row of stars, the interior with lilies, leaves, and sunbursts, 103" x 82". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 56 and 57.
Small loss to fringe. Minor wear to top edge. Overall very good/a couple small losses.
