Winchester model 1885 High Wall falling block rifle, .22 WCF caliber, made in 1894, with checkered, straight walnut stocks, ebony inlaid Schnabel forend, Vernier rear tang sight, and globe front sight having a leveling device, 26" octagonal barrel. SN #69544 Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Very good overall condition as re-built, barrel was re-bored and re-blued by J. Stevens A&T Company and is so marked, restocked and exhibits crisp checkering, bright bore with strong rifling.
