Winchester model 1885 high wall single shot falling block rifle, .32-40 caliber, made in 1901, with checkered walnut pistol grip stock with Swiss style butt plate and cheek rest, ebony inlaid Schnabel forend, palm rest, set triggers, and peep tang sight, 29" octagonal barrel. SN #89155 C&R Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Fine overall condition, 98% blue on re-blued barrel, case color on receiver, lever is reblued, repaired crack to forend forward of palm rest to screw, otherwise excellent stocks, bright bore with strong rifling.
