Whitney 1822 U.S. contract flintlock musket, .69 caliber, the lock inscribed New Haven 1835 E. Whitney, the barrel inscribed JM over a P, the tang inscribed 1834, with a 42'' round barrel with a bayonet.
All iron with heavy pitting. Stock is good with normal handling marks an no cartouche. Fully functional. Bayonet is inscribed {US}.
