Lebanon/Dauphin County, Pennsylvania full stock flintlock long rifle, inscribed N. Beyer, approximately .60 caliber, with full length relief carved tiger maple stock, an ornate brass patchbox, an eight-point star on the cheek rest, a tear drop escutcheon behind the trigger guard, a silver thumb escutcheon at the upper tang, and a 45 1/4'' octagonal to round smoothbore barrel.
Fully functional lock. Barrel and lock are brown with some frosting on the barrel flat forward of the upper tang. Three small chips on top of channel near the nose cap. 3" crack on right side and 1" crack at nose cap on left. Shading area on wrist wear a band was removed. There is a repair to the wrist which appears to go all of the way through. The break is nicely repaired with a filler that has been stained.
