Virginia redware candlestick, ca. 1880, by Anthony Baecher, stamped on the underside three times Baecher Winchester VA, with a knopped shaft and applied coleslaw decoration in a mottled brown and cream glaze, 10" h. This is the only known example of this form.
A few sporadic glaze flakes to bottom edge. 1/2" loss to cole slaw at base of stem. Small glaze losses to cole slaw at rim.
