Large Pennsylvania wool on linen embroidery, dated 1849, probably Berks County, wrought by C Hartman, with three flowering trees and birds above a lawn, retaining its original mahogany veneer frame, 16 1/2" x 27 1/2". Provenance: M. Finkel and Daughter.
Original frame. Some fraying/loss along bottom edge. Moderate staining, heavier to top middle and around vine.
