US Springfield model 1884 trapdoor rifle with bayonet, .45-70 caliber, with walnut stock, having 1887 cartouche on the left flat, P behind trigger guard, barrel with VP and eagle head proofs, breech block marked US model 1873, the lock inscribed US Springfield, with spread wing eagle, 32" barrel. SN #152405
Overall good condition, incorrect replacement ramrod, light handling marks, small wood chip at cartouche.
