US Springfield model 1861 percussion musket, .58 caliber, having walnut stocks with sling swivels, the lock inscribed US Springfield 1862, with spread wing eagle, two leaf folding rear sight, 40" barrel.
Good overall condition, with a blue barrel, bands have been polished, stocks show heavy handling marks with "4" carved into butt stock.
