Springfield U.S. model 1864 percussion rifle musket, .58 caliber, type II with U.S. socket bayonet, 40" barrel.
Barrel and lock bright with 1864 date and VP over Eagle on barrel. Very good wood with cartouche to left wrist showing some evidence of sanding. Fully functional action.
