Potts & Hunt, London model 1853 rifle musket, .577 caliber, 39" barrel.
Description should read: "…with bayonet and leather scabbard". Lock and barrel have brown patina with minimal freckling at bolster. Has 800 yard graduated rear sight. Brass triggerguard, nose cap, and butt plate. Buttplate is ill fitting. Clar BSA cartouche on buttstock. Good wood.
