Southeastern Pennsylvania watercolor fraktur of a spread winged eagle, ca. 1820, with an apple in its beak and a striped breast shield flanked by floral vines, 12" x 14 1/2". Exhibited at the Mennonite Heritage Center. Provenance: Purchased at a Lehigh County, Pennsylvania farm sale in 1984.
Not examined out of frame. 6" x 4" x 5" triangular patch bottom right edge. Two large repaired tears across legs and tail. Not glued down.
