Sharps model 1874 "Old Reliable" falling block rifle, approximately .45 caliber, with checkered walnut pistol grip stock, Schnabel forend, and long range Vernier tang sight, front globe sight with level, 34" octagonal to round barrel. SN #159317 Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Very good overall condition, retaining 80% original blue, peppery bore with some rifling, very good stocks except for two small holes and 1" repair to the top of the comb on the buttstock.
