Set of four Philadelphia Chippendale mahogany ribbonback dining chairs, ca. 1780. Provenance: Descended in the Randolph family.
Chair #1 repaired break with 4" piece at rear seat support; chair #2- seat original, repaired break to one slat, 5" crack to one knee; chair #3- original seat; chair#4 original seat, repaired break to crest, glue blocks replaced, repair break to one rear foot.
