Delaware Valley Chippendale walnut armchair, ca. 1770, the shell and volute carved crest above a pierced and voluted splat with a trapezoidal slip seat, resting in a shell carved frame supported by cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet. Provenance: Delaware Museum of Natural History.
Small crack to top of splat, original yellow pine slip seat, small piece to one toe.
