Marlin Ballard no. 6 Schuetzen single shot target rifle, .25-25 caliber, with a scroll engraved receiver with stag, checkered walnut pistol grip stock with high relief cheek rest, Swiss style steel butt plate, and Vernier rear tang sight, front globe sight, 28 1/2" octagonal to round barrel. SN #7533 Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Very good overall condition, barrel has been cold blued and turned purple, small gap where butt stock joins receiver, also with small gap at tang, 3" faint crack visible on one side of wrist, peppery bore with strong rifling.
