Massachusetts Arms Co. Maynard breech loading rifle, approximately .35 caliber, with checkered walnut pistol grip stock, the left side of the receiver with four line mark, dated 1873, right side of receiver with three line mark, dated 1882, Vernier tang sight, globe front sight with leveling device, and steel Swiss style butt plate, 30" octagonal to round barrel. SN #11423 Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Excellent overall condition, retaining 75% blue on barrel, receiver is bright, excellent stocks, bright bore with strong rifling.
