Revolutionary War era French Charleville model 1763 musket, .69 caliber, having a walnut stock with sawtooth carved border, the right side of the butt stock inscribed PRS 1783 and TS on opposing side, the lock inscribed Charleville, the side plate with punched inscription 1779 P. Starr, 44 1/2" barrel. Overall good condition, crack at upper tang to rear lock tang with an old repair, another crack from forward lock 6" to barrel with old repair, missing middle barrel band, incorrect ramrod, some losses to stock where it meets the barrel on right side, illegible proof on barrel at breech, lock functions correctly.
