Red, blue, and white jacquard coverlet, mid 19th c., possibly Ohio, the border decorated with 2 rows of various buildings, the interior with leaves and sunbursts, 82" x 80". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 106 and 107.
Overall good condition. Some fringe loss. Loss to approx. 5" x 1/2" to top edge. Some areas of staining. Small losses to body, primarily in blue and one 2" x 2" loss to red.
