Philadelphia triple-chair back Windsor settee, dated 1796, initialed GH, with knuckle arms, 40" h., 84" w. This form is one of the rarest Windsor styles and is extremely hard to find. Provenance: A York Pennsylvania collection.
Four knot patches to seat. One upper spindle with glued break. Another with crack. Refinished.
