Philadelphia Chippendale walnut highboy base, ca. 1760, now fitted with a grey marble top above a single long drawer, above a shell carved drawer with applied streamers, flanked by two short drawers and fluted chamfered corners over a scalloped and volute carved skirt with fishtail and cabriole legs with shell carved knees and voluted knee returns, terminated in stocking drake feet, 36 1/4" h., 42" w., 23" d. Provenance: Philip H. Bradley Co.

Condition

Brasses replaced. Small patches in shell carved drawer for knob. Beautifully figured drawer fronts.
