Philadelphia Chippendale mahogany high chest, ca. 1770, the broken arch crest with carved rosettes above a shell carved bonnet drawer, resting on a base with matching center drawer, supported by shell carved cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet. Appears to retain its original brasses, 96" h., 44 1/2" w. Alan Miller assisted with the cataloging of this piece.
