Pennsylvania walnut schrank, ca. 1760, having a molded cornice over two doors, each with three raised panels with rattail hinges flanked by fluted pilasters over three drawers, all resting on shoe feet, 85 1/2" h., 60" w., 21" d. Provenance: Charlotte & Edgar Sittig.

Condition

Parts: key. Backboards are original and thick yellow pine, inside is half with shelves and half open; shoe feet are period and unattached but we see no shadow line on the base of the kas. Minor patch to lock area of center stile. Restored period brasses on drawers, original escutcheons, mellow old surface.
