Pennsylvania tiger maple flintlock long rifle, signed John Schuler Liverpool Pennsylvania with tower lock and brass furniture, 54 1/2" l., together with a powder horn.
Ca. 1820. Mechanism works. Later engraving on top of barrel DMH 1950. 1" crack in wood above brass plate at end of barrel. 3" x 1 1/2" old patch to toe at butt plate. Frizzen spring is replaced. Two screws added to sideplate. Ramrod is a faux painted replacement. Powder horn is in good condition, no apparent damages or repairs.
