Mifflin County, Pennsylvania painted poplar dower chest, dated 1833, initialed E.Y., made for Elizabeth Yoder Mast and for her marriage to Jacob Byler, 29 1/4'' h., 52 3/4'' w. Provenance: Descended in the Byler family until 1993; Chuck Paulus, March 12, 1993. Family history accompanies lot.
