Pennsylvania painted dower chest, late 18th c., with Heinrich Otto style decoration, the top and front decorated with ivory cartouches, with red vases of flowers on a green ground, the ends decorated with parrots and flowers, supported by ogee bracket feet, retains its original strap hinges and grab lock, 22" h., 49 3/4" l., 21 1/2"d. Provenance: A prominent Philadelphia Estate.
