Pennsylvania or Southern Federal walnut secretary desk and bookcase, ca. 1810, the broken arch bonnet with star inlaid rosettes, resting on an upper section with recessed panel doors on a base with fall front and four crotch grained drawers, supported by flaring French feet, with allover line inlay, 98 1/2'' h., 38 3/4'' w.
Condition
Inlay loss left side of cornice. Applied molding to side of cornice replaced. Repaired breaks to tops of broken arches. Yellow pine secondaries. Brasses original. A couple small patches to foot facings.
