Pennsylvania hard pine tri-corner hat box, late 18th c., 7 1/4'' x 19 1/2''. Provenance: Hat Box; Francis Brinton, West Chester, Pennsylvania, 1937. Hat; purportedly owned by Jonathan Weaver, Goodville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, officer in the Revolution, purchased 1938.
Parts: information. Box - as expected surface wear, strap hinges, small losses to base molding. Hat - very good condition, no apparent damages or repairs. Property Formerly in the Collection of Titus Geesey
