Pennsylvania glazed redware pierced strainer basket dated 1815 inside bowl, with overall yellow glaze with sgraffito trailing vines and outlines, 10 3/8" dia. For a similar example, see Mr. and Mrs. Paul Flack Collection, October 2000, lot 214; Henry P. Deyerle Collection, May 1995, lot 574. A copy of the original invoice accompanies this lot. Parts: Information/Letter. Upper rim chips and glaze wear/loss to glaze. Abrasions. Mid body glaze exfoliation. Glaze wear around base rim. A few minor interior glaze flakes.
