Pennsylvania Chippendale walnut chest on chest, ca. 1780, the broken arch bonnet with central flame finial and boldly carved floral rosettes, above a frieze with three carved floral sprigs and five short and six long drawers flanked by floral carved quarter columns supported by ogee bracket feet, 94 1/2" h., 42 1/4" w. Provenance: Philip Bradley Antiques; A Pennsylvania educational institution.
Secondary woods - pine. Pegged construction. Brasses replaced. A couple chips to cornice. Provenance: PA educational institution.
