Pair of Philadelphia Chippendale walnut dining chairs, ca. 1775, each with a volute and foliate carved crest above a gothic splat and trapezoidal slip seat supported by square legs joined by stretchers.
Period slip seat. One chair - repaired stile and shoe. Other - good condition, no apparent damages or repairs.
