Pair of Philadelphia Chippendale mahogany dining chairs, ca. 1770, each with a pierced gothic splat and cabriole front legs terminating in ball and claw feet.
Chair #1 - small breaks to splat. Original slip seat. Corner blocks replaced. One knee return replaced. Chair #2 - repaired breaks to crest. 1" x 1 1/2" loss to rear of crest at stile. Repaired breaks to splat. Original slip seat. Corner blocks replaced. One knee return replaced. Surface abrasions to legs.
