Painted pine settle, 18th c., with scalloped sides and a paneled back, retaining an old black painted surface, 66 1/4" h., 64 1/2" w.
Shrinkage to panels. One panel with crack. 15" x 1" repair to seat. Worm damage and loss to seat. Sporadic paint loss. Small loss to one foot facing. Repair to other front foot facing.
