Massachusetts oil on board folk art whaling scene dated 1845, depicting the Metacom of New Bedford, 9 1/2" x 10 1/4".
Two old cracks in panel. Area above right long boat inpainted (approx. 1" x 1"). Area below bow inpainted (approx. 1/2" x 1/2"). Very dirty. Not examined out of frame.
