Martin Brechall (Southeastern Pennsylvania, active 1783-1830), watercolor and ink on paper taufschein done for Susanna Seibert, 1806, Northumberland Township, signed Martin Brechall, with a central rectangular cartouche enclosing script surmounted by an upside down heart enclosing script and red, blue, and yellow tulips, flanked by blue and red shields and flowers, all over a heart enclosing script, blue, red, and yellow tulips and trailing vines, 13 1/4" x 16".
Minor Edge loss. Toning. Some sporadic foxing. Overall nice condition.
