Mahantongo Valley, Pennsylvania painted dower chest dated 1820, inscribed Cadarina Domasen, with two ivory cartouches on a red grained ground, 24" h., 46" w.
Missing feet. Original brasses. Four holes drilled into top. Loss to corner of one drawer. 2 1/2" chip to lid. Small losses to molding.
