Liverpool Herculaneum cream colored earthenware pitcher, early 19th c., with transfer decoration of The Shipwright's Arms, the reverse with an American shipyard and the front inscribed William Bradbury, 10'' h. William Bradbury is purportedly a ship builder from Bath, Maine. Provenance: Northeast Auction, August 20, 1994, lot 599.

Condition

1 1/2" hairline to spout, hairline from rim through arms and over to edge of shipyard. Another hairline from rim through left edge of shipyard. Large reglued break to base at front.
