Lebanon, Pennsylvania red, navy blue, light green, and white jacquard coverlet by Jacob Shalk, the corner blocks inscribed "Jacob Shalk M.B. 1836", the eagle and tree border surrounded by a double row of stars, the interior with rose, sunburst, leaf, and geometric decoration, 97" x 80". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 42 and 43.
Extensive loss to fringe. Overall even wear and fading.
