Lebanon, Pennsylvania red, navy blue, green, and white jacquard coverlet by Jacob Shalk, the corner blocks inscribed "Jacob Shalk 1837", the eagle and tree border surrounded by a double row of stars, the interior with lily, leaf, and sunburst decoration, 96" x 88". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 44 and 45.
Overall very good. Minor loss to fringe on one side. Small loss to lettering.
