Jonestown, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania dower chest by Christian Selzer, ca. 1780, the lid decorated with 2 floral panels, over a case, the front with 2 rectangular panels with potted tulips within a foliate scroll border, the left pot is signed indistinctly, flanked by sides with black and white pinwheels, all on a stippled ground supported by short bracket feet, 20" h., 43 3/4" w.
