John Derr, with open sights, a tiger maple stock, extensive mounts of brass and German silver, including an inlaid strip on the comb of the stock and the plate on the bottom of the forend, incised rococo carving to the rear of the cheek piece, a three-piece brass patch box, and a release brass plate on the toe of the stock, 41 1/2'' part round, part octagonal barrel.
Condition
There is some pitting from the barrel plug forward 2.5" on the barrel. There is a repair to the upper part of the cock and the frozen has been re-surfaced. There is also a repair to the stock at the trigger guard and 1.5" forward of the lock. The cock does not stay cocked.
