Johann Conrad Trevits (Southeastern Pennsylvania, active 1775-1825), watercolor and ink on paper fraktur, done for Johannes Scherry, 1819, with a central heart enclosing script surmounted by an arch enclosing a green, red, and yellow starburst, flanked by green, yellow, red, and blue birds and male and female figures, 13 1/2" x 16". Provenance: John Gordon.
Some edge losses including feet of gentleman. Some edge tears and small tears throughout. Light creases. Woman with small patches to lower edge.
